I’m Nayeli Moreno, I’m a local artist and mamma. I go by Tumbleweed Flower. I’m a mixed media artist working with resin, acrylic paint, and spray paint. I've been doing this publicly since 2021. My artistic process consists of “feeling colors” which means I never know exactly what I'm painting, but I know what colors I’ll be using based on how I’m feeling. My paintings are surreal compositions of everything I love. When grounded to reality, the canvas becomes my dreamy surreal fantasy world.

When life gets hectic, I look up. Looking at the sky is a grounding point for me that reminds me that no matter how crazy everything gets, life is still beautiful and worth living. Sunsets are so unreal I believe they're the fine line between reality and delusion because how is such beauty even possible? This mural is based on a picture I took while walking with my son at our favorite park. Every day I take my son to the park, play, watch the sunset, and give thanks for living a beautiful life.
