Working at the Pemberton has been a unique experience. As one of the first artists invited to paint, I had no idea what it would grow into. Through the process, I’ve been able to explore ideas, execute creative visions, and contribute to multiple projects across the property. The opportunity to experiment and have real creative freedom has been a breath of fresh air—something that’s made the work feel both meaningful and energizing.
They Not Like UsRooted in the spirit of early hip-hop, this five-part mural series pays tribute to rhythm, movement, and expression. Each faceless b-boy strikes a distinct pose, painted in bold, improvised palettes that reflect the freestyle nature of breakdancing. A jagged yellow bolt cuts through each wall—an electric current symbolizing the power of music and connection. Painted entirely in spray paint, these towering figures feel larger than life—alive with energy and the spirit of a cultural movement.
